"We’re proud to continually reimagine our tenant mix to provide a vibrant and unparalleled shopping experience for our guests.” SportChek will be taking over 66,000 square feet of space across the upper level of the shopping centre with a new "Destination Sport" location slated to open in Spring 2027. This move reflects the brand’s continued investment in building athlete-led stores in key communities, creating a bigger, better, and more seamless experience for customers with expanded assortments, sport-focused shopping zones, enhanced brand experiences, and elevated in-store services. Joining the new retail mix, WINNERS is planned to open in Spring 2027, further elevating the shopping experience at CF Chinook Centre with its off-price apparel and home fashion offerings across 33,000 square feet of space on the lower level of the shopping centre. Adding to the momentum, the newly relocated Old Navy store is set to open in November 2026 on the lower level of the former Nordstrom space. The new store offers 15,000 square feet of fashion and value for the whole family, with plans for exciting grand opening customer experiences. These major openings are complemented by recent retail additions and enhancements across the property as part of the centre's ongoing transformation. Recent openings include Shake Shack’s first Western Canada location, The North Face, Skechers, and Abercrombie & Fitch. Looking ahead, shoppers can look forward to upcoming arrivals such as Hollister, Wing Stop, Chipotle, New Balance, as well as the relocation of Sleep Country. Further announcements regarding additional new retailers are expected in the near future as CF continues to invest in delivering a premier shopping destination for Calgarians.
