The newly redesigned Garage storefront at CF Fairview Mall officially celebrated its highly anticipated grand reopening following a multi-month renovation. Prior to this launch, the brand had completely vacated its space, temporarily serving shoppers from a downsized pop-up location on Level 1 near Ray-Ban. That temporary space has now permanently closed, and all operations have successfully come back to the permanent venue on Level 2, positioned directly at Entrance 5. This premium location captures immediate foot traffic from the upper-deck parking structures and anchors a high-traffic fashion and beauty wing, sitting alongside major co-tenants like Aritzia, Laura, and a flagship Kiokii and...

While the launch represents a standard portfolio asset renewal rather than a first-to-market geographic entry, it holds immense strategic value due to its cutting-edge "street-active" flagship concept. The revamped layout completely discards the softer, pastel-heavy aesthetics of past store generations, introducing an energetic, urban vibe that blends raw industrial windows, exposed textures, natural wood, and white steel fixtures with vibrant dichroic glass. Inside, the floor plan highlights the denim streetwear and athleisure, while the fitting rooms have been completely reimagined as social media focused "content hubs", brightly lit with pink overhead LEDs and wrap-around mirrors designed specifically for “selfie centric” retail experiences.

Driving this innovative retail evolution is Garage's powerful legacy as an established Canadian fashion powerhouse. Founded in 1975 in Montreal, Quebec, the brand operates under its prominent parent corporation, Groupe Dynamite Inc. They’re best known for their denim collections, cargo pants, loungewear, and basics. GDI manages nearly 300 storefronts across North America under Garage and Dynamite alongside a massive global e-commerce framework.

Beyond CF Fairview Mall, Garage is also located at the following Cadillac Fairview properties: CF Toronto Eaton Centre, CF Sherway Gardens, CF Rideau Centre, CF Polo Park, CF Pacific Centre, CF Market Mall, CF Masonville Place, CF Fairview Pointe Claire, CF Chinook Centre, CF Carrefour Laval.
