Our Commitment
Escalator service interruption:
Starting January 15th, 2024 CF Toronto Eaton Centre will commence phase two of our vertical transportation project at the Centre. This phase will be a multi year project as we work towards the replacement of escalator steps across the property.
During this period, up to two banks of escalators will be out of service at a time to facilitate the installation of new and improved components.
As of July 29th, 2024, the escalators near Gap from level 1 to 2 and the escalators from level 1 to 2 near the Dundas subway are out of service.
Access between floors can be found via stairs and an elevator near the Dundas entrance, or by stairs, escalator and elevator in the centre or the shopping centre, and near the Queen Street entrance.
The Dundas escalators are expected to be back in service by mid-August.
The Gap Court escalators are expected to be back in service in October.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we strive to enhance the overall safety and efficiency of the shopping centre.
Alternative routes will be signposted and our Guest Service Representatives and Security Guards will be available to assist guests as required.
Level 3, Trinity Way to Dundas Atrium access:
We are excited to share that the former Nordstrom location will be undergoing redevelopment to create spaces for three new retail concepts. This will be in effect starting April 1st, 2024.
This redevelopment will require us to close the north/south access path on level 3 through the space. Access north/south will be available through level 2 and level 1 of the Centre.
The CF Toronto Eaton Centre team is taking steps to significantly enhance wayfinding on these levels to ensure guests, visitors and employees have visibility to the path of travel north/south through the Centre. Additionally ambassadors will be in place to answer questions and assist with directions through the transition.
As of April 22nd, 2024, CF Toronto Eaton Centre will commence our Albert’s Way West Waterproofing project. While the work is taking place, the entrance will remain open via the south swinging door and south revolving door only. Signage will be in place to direct traffic accordingly.
We anticipate this work to be completed by September, 2024. During this period the WheelTrans pick up location will be temporarily relocated to the Yonge Street and Albert's Way East Entrance.
CF Toronto Eaton Centre is committed to providing excellent customer service to all its customers, including our customers with disabilities, based on the core principles of dignity, independence, inclusion, integration, responsiveness and equality of opportunity.
