This Remembrance Day, we pause to observe this sacred time and reflect on the sacrifices made by the brave men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces. As we do every year on November 11th, we honour those who have served our nation in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. We remember those who returned home forever changed and those whose lives were cut short in service of our country. The poppies we wear are a symbol of our enduring commitment to honour their service and sacrifice. Their courage secured the peace and liberties we enjoy today, and their legacy calls on us to carry forward the torch of remembrance with respect and gratitude. We encourage our community to observe a Moment of Silence at 11:00 AM on November 11th to respect the courage and sacrifice made for our freedom. Lest we forget.
