Throughout the month of May, we are delaying the mowing of our grassy areas on our property to let dandelions grow. Far from being just weeds, dandelions are one of the most essential early food sources for bees and other pollinators after the long winter months. Our bees say thank you! Did you know that we host beehives right on our roof. By participating in The Dandelion Challenge, we are providing our own urban bees and local pollinators with a natural and diverse feast right at their doorstep, supporting the health of our local Laval ecosystems.
